Because 'sub-matter' follows a different set of physical laws, detecting it directly and manipulating it with our 'dense' scientific instruments, is totally impossible. The gulf between ordinary matter and 'sub-matter' is very great; it cannot be bridged directly by any 'machine' that we can build from our side of the 'equation.' However, our minds are composed of this 'sub-matter.' Therefore, a natural instrument already exist for accessing and manipulating 'sub-matter.' We only need to understand the true nature of our minds and how to use it properly.
