Knowledge, the possession of facts, is not true power. The power, is only wielded if you KNOW HOW TO USE YOUR KNOWLEDGE. Not all power leads to peace and safety in tranquility; here is where wisdom comes in. For wisdom is the understanding of how to use knowledge to lead to peace, tranquility, life and love for ALL. Therefore, all knowledge must be interpreted in the light of wisdom to see what power it would bear.
The pursuit of philosophy, is not only in following what previous Philosophers stated, but it is the engaging of ourselves in understanding our own thoughts and feelings.
The unfolding of our own wisdom lies in understanding our responses to what is in front of us. Enter into contemplation, and converse with the content of this page.
